Meet Our Board: John Kiser

Aug 25, 2020 | CFHuron Board Members

Meet John Kiser, Community Futures Huron volunteer board member.  John has over 30 years of experience in the financial service industry.

Following a 25-year career in the banking sector John moved to the credit union system in 2012.  John has had the pleasure of working for Libro Credit Union ever since and has never looked back.

He holds a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education degree from Brock University and a Business Administration & Marketing diploma from Fanshawe College.  As a Commercial & Agriculture Relationship Manager at Libro Credit Union, John focuses on helping his member/owners achieve financial prosperity.

Board work is something that John takes pride in, including with Community Futures Huron and as a Director with the Huron County Economic Development Board.

Along with his role at Libro Credit Union, board and committee work is focused on activities where he can make a difference in people’s lives.  His most rewarding undertaking has been the work he’s done in providing financial guidance to new, existing, and growing farm and non-farm businesses.

In the case of Community Futures Huron, many of these businesses wouldn’t otherwise have had a chance. John is proud to know that he is able to make a positive contribution to the prosperity of the people and businesses in Huron County.
